3 x Original Daiwa Powermesh PMC 13ft 2.75 TC

Here we have my first ever set of 3 original Daiwa Powermesh PMC’s dating back to the 1990s
Rare 13’ 2.75 test

Due to a bit of nostalgia , the benefit of my good friend being a well known and respected professional rod builder and the fact that these blanks are absolutely awesome - 10 years ago I had them re built .
The blanks were stripped of all eyes and furniture. I upgraded the eyes from another set of rods so they now benefit from a better ringing arrangement and a 40mm butt eye to 16mm tip.
They were originally only 30mm to 12mm tip.
New reel seats , stainless collars and butt caps, new duplon handle trims and bottom grip - finished with a sleek shrink wrap below the reel seat.
Please note to prep the rods for a re build and re lacquering the original labelling and Union Jack etc had to be removed.
The weave on these blanks are unmistakable as an original Daiwa Powermesh .
The rods have only been used on one French trip since being re built so are
in fantastic condition. Great casting and playing rods .
Very rare rods and unusual to ever see improved / re built .
